Team Celebrates Opening of Jacob’s Well

On Wednesday, May 28, members of Team Italy One officially opened Jacob’s Well ministry center by hosting an inauguration event.

Neighbors and Italian contacts throughout Genoa were invited to celebrate. In all, over 100 people were in attendance, including realtors, language school teachers & students, local believers, and even a contact who received Christ on location just a few

days earlier.

Appetizers were shared, people chatted, and the new media pieces in Jacob’s Well were on full display. The team showed a video that described in Italian the unique mission of JW. (view video here) On the big screen, others showed off their bowling and baseball skills on the Nintendo Wii. The Italians who came expressed a satisfaction with the ministry center, unique atmosphere, and its key location in the center of Genoa.

This was a time to celebrate, as well as to inform and excite Italians about the new activities and events happening inside Jacob’s Well. Contacts were invited to come back soon for a variety of evangelistic events. As they experienced the cafe atmosphere, they were asked to stop by for a cappuccino to discuss topics of spiritual significance.

The inauguration of Jacob’s Well marks the beginning of a new, exciting era of ministry in Genoa.
