Hitting a Homerun with Italians

...continued

As the season came to a close, Phil and Tim desired to continue these relationships off the field.  They hosted a series of baseball themed parties at Jacob's Well ministry center and held informal wiffle
ball games at a local park promoting the Gryphons teaching kids, coaches and dads principles that relate to baseball and life.

Just last week after having spent a day with one of the assistant coaches and h
is family, Tim and his wife Amee shared the gospel with them.  They listened intently and asked questions. Tim boldly asked if they would like to be saved.  The dad spoke up in adamant affirmation.  He was ready. They prayed together and his new life in Christ began. Tim gave the family their first Bible.

Baseball itself doesn’t change lives. But God has opened up unique doors through which His Word can be delivered into the hearts of men who may otherwise never hear.
